After years of working in various business sectors in Executive & Managerial levels, Kasthuri Arachchi Jr. (born in 1992) decided to start his own business ‘kasoli’ which he hoped would be a model for sustainability in the fashion industry. We try our best to sell only eco-friendly organic cotton clothing with no animal products including leather. Kasthuri Jr. is also the designer and maker of the clothes as well as overseeing the development and production side of things. Co-Owners Asela Kasthuriarachchi and Hiruni Weerakoon help him with designing, styling, production, marketing and branding side of things. They make sure to take inspiration from the rich culture of Sri Lanka, to create chic designs that are also culturally authentic. ‘kasoli’ products are handmade in Sri Lanka.

The products by ‘kasoli’ are made with fabrics sourced from across Sri Lanka, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and other countries in South Asia. As a result, there is a variety in patterns and colors, sometimes using artisans who have skills in traditional embroidery work or weaving techniques.
